"I have been crucified with Christ; It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Galatians 2:20

The grass is greener...

"... I will make you like the new grass, to rise up from among the dead ashes, firmly rooted in the foundation of my Son. The winds will come and blow away the ashes, men will come and trample the dead grass beneath their feet but you will remain steadfast, beautiful and green... ready to live for Me and My Kingdom."

Sometimes, we need to do just get up off of our rear-ends and start working, walking and living for God. There is no time like the present, there are no more excuses, there are no more hinderences, we can make a difference in this lost world.

Recently, Tom returned from Mozambique where he spent time training for outreaches. Tom returned with a renewed vigour and passion for his calling and let me tell you something... it's contagious!
Tom recently acquired what I like to call, "Kingdom Tools" We now have at our disposal (and Tom's discression) a brand new portable PA system for outreaches and events. Let me tell you this, it's AWESOME! 260 Watts of portable PA power, it's perfect, exactly what we need to help out in up-coming outreaches both locally and across our borders.

Last weekend we tested the system in an open field behind our local church. The results were fantastic, what a blessing!
While praying for the equipment and dedicating it to the service of the Kingdom, I looked across the burnt field and could see patches of green grass growing amongst the dead, black grass. God spoke to me there and then with the words I wrote at the begining. Next time you drive past a burnt field, take a look at the green grass shooting up in amongst the carnage, it's beautiful.
There's alot of work ahead for the church and we need to start to stand up and really be counted for God. Sometimes it takes just one person to make a radical declaration, to take a bold step of faith for our Lord and I believe that's what happened last weekend.

In the words of Charles Spurgeon, "It's time to give your prayers legs! Enlist!"
