Hillsong United... They came, they sang, they shared... we went, we glorified the name of Jesus Christ, we were blessed...!
Words cannot explain what happened that night. The presence of God was so tangible, it broke chains of bondage, it uplifted our spirits. 7000+ young people singing praises to our King! There was no better place to be at that time.
My heart was touched that night, I saw something in our young people that has been missing for sometime. I saw an overwhelming hunger that only God Himself could satisfy. I saw a generation shake off all their inhibitions for one united purpose. I saw a revolution declaring Galatians 2:20, "I have been crucified with Christ; It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
I believe that night and army was birthed, an army whose ranks are filled by sold-out Christians, radical young believers who will leave everything they know to follow the Word of God. This army is ready to be used by God, to be directed by His hand and guided by His Spirit.
I truly pray that while you read this, the Holy Spirit will birth a desire in your heart to draw even closer to the Father. There is much work to be done and we've chosen to be the labourers so lets get out there and do something about it.
