Project: Heldzinger

One, two.... one, two... is this thing on...?
Well, I know the updates have been a bit scarce lately but it'll hopeully start running a bit smoother from now on thanks to our Vodacom 3G connection!!!

If you haven't heard yet, we're having a fun day soon at the church gounds. We'll be playing some vollyball and beach soccer and there'll also be a braai going. The whole reason behind this is to get the local community involved and by local, I mean right in our very own street. I'd like to call it "Project: Heldzinger" named after the street directly adjacent to ours. I've noticed that there are quite a few families in this street that aren't all that well off and I think we as a Young Adult group can have a great impact on their lives and possibly their situations.
Jesus clearly told his disciples to preach the Gospel to every living creature, so we have a duty, a responsibility, a commandment to help these people and tell them about Jesus.

It's time to be effective in the community we live in. The fields are white unto harvest, yet the labourers are few. I'd like the Young Adults to stand up and be counted, to stand and say "We'll work those fields!"

More info will be posted closer to the time but we can expect to be holding this fun day in about 3 weeks time, so lets all get involved and I know God will make this a success.
