"I have been crucified with Christ; It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Galatians 2:20

NEWSBOYS

Quite some time ago we went to the Day of Destiny event at Gallagher Estate. I've finally downloaded the pictures (sorry about the wait). If the guys who went would like them, I'll make some CD's. There are some pretty cool shots of The Newsboys.
We all agree, it was freakin awesome dude! They didn't have the turn-out as expected but the artists still came onto satge and gave it their all. We were also blessed by the ministry and I believe that weekend struck some important chords in our lives. Posted by Picasa

It's finally ready...!!!

That's right folks! We are ready for our first volleyball game. The court is complete and we're going to initiate it properly this coming Thursday night. I think it's kinda fitting to have finished it just before the end of the year. I was talking to Tom and we're both pretty amazed that it's finally ready, but we know that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us and we have, God has provided the all the finances and we were able to make what I think is the best looking volleyball court on the East Rand!

A big thanks to everyone who has helped, we really appreciate it, and especially to Clay, my boy, you had the vision and now it is a reality. I'm so grateful that you are around to see it.
Thanks to Tom as well, he really got stuck into building this court, if it wasn't for him, I don't think we would've got very far.
To everybody else who has contributed, SWEEEEET! Thanks a mil. Lets really make this court count, we give God all the glory and we know that it's going to be a part of the Breakthru beacon in our community.

"Go into all the nations...."

And they're off...! Dan and Fraser left today for Botswana on the first leg of their journey into the mission fields. Our prayers and thoughts are with you guys and we're trusting that God will use you in ways you couldn't even imagine. I'm really happy for them and I pray God blesses them tremendeously on this trip. We'll try keep each other updated about what's happenning and they also have a blog to view (http://messiahministries.blogspot.com) so check it out when you get a chance, Dan says they'll try keep it updated regularly.

Fraser said something important before they left, he said that we need to remember that we're all brothers and sisters in Christ. No matter where we go, or where our ministries take us, we're all still connected. The way I see it is like a huge weaving or tapestry, God weaves our lives together and sometimes we cross each others paths, who knows, maybe we'll all be out there someday fulfilling the great commission. We're all part of this masterpiece that God has created.
So guys, we need to remember them in our prayers and bring them before God regularly.

I'm hoping to post some pics of the guys preaching, so stay tuned.

Over and out

Welcome to our Breakthru Blog!

Alright, so here we are at the end of another year. Time really does fly! I can truly say that this year has been great. There has been alot of new faces at Young Adults the past year and we thank God for all the guys who've joined us this year. We love and appreciate you all.

So, I've decide to start a Blog! Well now, this could be interesting. Basically, we're going to use it to keep people informed about what's happenning at Breakthru and maybe in and around Boksburg and our lives... So stay tuned!!!

We've all been able to input something into each others lives somewhere alng the line and it's evident that we've grown from strenght to strength in God.

It's going to be a bit sad next year with Clay going to Aus, but I know that I can rest assured that he is in God's Hands. God has brought him through alot this year and I am extremely proud to be his brother. I love you Clay and God Bless for next year!
